WCA money comes from the taxpayer and goes directly into the coffers of Atos and Capita

“If the WCA (Work Capability disability assessment test) had anything whatsoever to do with saving money, they would stop wasting thousands upon thousands of pounds on continually and repeatedly re-assessing people who, for example, have missing limbs (they aren’t going to grow back), birth defects or who have suffered crippling accidental injury or, like my wife, have incurable degenerative conditions (they can’t, by definition, get better, only worse). This money comes from the tax payer and goes directly into the coffers of ATOS and CAPITA. I can see only two logical explanations. 

1, it is a massive con and the government is too stupid to see that, or 

2, it is part of the government’s ideological drive to exterminate the sick and disabled. 

Personally, I go for the latter.
