Health Minister Norman Lamb Thinks “Neighbourhood Watch” should wash your arse when you get old…

So here we are again folks, some idiotic LibDem Minister has come up with the bright idea that “Neighbourhood Watch” teams should take on caring for the elderly in their homes because the elderly population is growing and the state cannot handle the pressure?

I’m sorry he denies it but isn’t this the state just washing their hands of elderly care in the community? Sure our society has a poor attitude towards the elderly but so do our politicians, will Mr.Norman Lamb be volunteering in his community to do his bit, I doubt that very much.

This is a ludicrous idea, I would not want someone from the neighbourhood watch team washing my mother or father if they were alive, that sort of thing in my opinion should be down to relatives or the state, don’t forget that most elderly people have paid for care from cradle to grave already, are the politicians now going to tell them we’ve spunked your money up the wall on foreign aid, wars that were not necessary and junkets abroad for our personal pleasure?

And the LibDems wonder why they’ll never be in power as an individual party, maybe because they come up with such bloody ludicrous ideas?….
