The Citizens Advice Bureau revealed a sharp rise in the number of debt collectors knocking on the doors of working parents yesterday.
Working families now make up a fifth of inquiries about debt collectors. And, of 60,000 cases last year involving “bailiff problems”, half were parents of children under 18.
