What a bloody cheek this Tory Boy has for accusing Lambeth Council of wasting public money, what about all the bloody money the Tory’s have used to spin lies about so-called ”Benefit Scroungers” or Fraudulent Disabled people not really being disabled, this bloke is a complete arsehole….

A government minister today slammed the ‘lazy  socialism’ of a Labour-run council using taxpayer’s money to run posters  attacking benefit cuts.

Lambeth council has been condemned for its  campaign, which dares to suggest that people living on welfare ‘may have to find  work’ to make up for the shortfall in state handouts.

Tory local government minister Brandon Lewis  said the authority had been ‘caught-red handed systematically misusing public  funds’.

One poster which has sprung up across South  London features a huge pair of scissors and declares: ‘On benefit? The  government are making cuts. If you are on benefit you have may less money from  April.

‘It is important you get advice now. Lambeth  Council can help you.’

A section of the council’s website dedicated  to criticising government cuts to benefits adds: ‘If you claim benefits, it is  likely you will receive less and may have to find work or move to a different  property.’

From April, no household will be able to  receive more than £26,000 in benefits – the average family income.

Housing benefit rules are being changed so  claimants will not receive full help with council tax bills if they have  unoccupied bedrooms and many benefits will rise by only one per cent.

But ministers condemned the use of public  money to criticise government spending cuts.

Mr Lewis said: ‘Lambeth have once again been  caught-red handed systematically misusing public funds.

‘The money wasted on this scare campaign  could have been spent on protecting frontline services,’ he told the  Standard.
