Who Benefits? is a campaign to give a voice to the millions who have been supported by benefits at some point in their lives.
It uses real stories to show the public, journalists and politicians the reality of who needs help, why they need it and the difference that it makes.Life can be unpredictable, but no one should go hungry because they lose their job or become homeless because they get ill.
Too often the voices of those who have been helped by benefits get ignored. Who Benefits? brings together charities, community groups and faith organisations to change that.
We believe that politicians should do more to listen to, understand and act on the experiences of people who have been supported by benefits. They should do more to focus on the real reasons that people are struggling like low wages, the high cost of living and the housing crisis.
Who Benefits? is a coalition of organisations that represent the wide range of people who sometimes need support from benefits. It is a growing campaign - they are always looking for more individuals and organisations to get involved.
