At DWP questions this week, IDS spoke proudly of how his department always commissions research into how its changes affect people.
But then, if it doesn’t like the results, it seems it doesn’t publish them...
We are still waiting, after eight months, for the DWP to publish its report into the rise in food banks.
By the time it’s actually published, it will be critically out of date – foodbank use has tripled since April, when the reporting period ends.
But you have to wonder why the DWP is so keen for us not to see it?
