Paralympian wheelchair basketball player Jon Pollock says he has been
“tossed on the scrap heap” after being refused any benefits when he
became unemployed.
He also said the Job Centre was “absolutely useless” when it came to
helping him find a job and that the only advise he got was from a woman
in the job centre who advised him to do unpaid charity work.
