This has apparently caused their children have genetic defects. She sent numerous requests for assistance to the Communities and Local Government Minister, but all were ignored.
Coming from such a high level of government, this comment is not only offensive and cruel; it also furthers mental health prejudices. This is totally unacceptable, especially in light of the victims' suffering. Demand that Eric Pickles resigns now!
