JOBCENTRE staff were left shocked when they turned up for work to find their offices had been targeted in a petrol bomb attack.
Firefighters were called to the Jobcentre Plus office in Queen Street, Kirkintilloch, on Saturday, December 22, at around 10pm.
Two fire appliances attended the incident.
A small amount of damage was caused, however, the office opened as normal on the Monday, December 24.
Police say a 50-year-old local man has been charged with wilful fireraising.
