Dear Mr Cameron,
I see you are trying to expunge all records of your broken promises from the Internet. Good luck with that. Having announced that austerity is permanent at the Lord Mayors banquet, it’s obvious where this is all going, an attempt at the complete subjugation of the British people. That’s the real deal behind the Bedroom tax, throwing away workers rights, binning legal aid, universal no-credit, strivers for exploitation, no sick, dying or disabled, Atos, sanctions, sanctions, sanctions. Frozen minimum wage not good enough for you? Get another job, work more hours.
You said at the Lord Mayors lavish bean feast for the privileged – “We know the most progressive way to tackle poverty is through work.
And yet for generations, people who could work have been failed by the system and stuck on benefits.
So we’re putting an end to the poverty and wealth traps that have plagued our welfare system for too long.
We’re capping welfare, so that no family is better off on benefits than in work.
And through universal credit, we’re ensuring that for every extra hour you work and every extra job you do – you should always be better off.”
Yes Mr Cameron, drive everyone to the bottom and the frozen minimum wage will always make you better off than if you are on sanctioned benefits and if not, get more jobs. ‘Every extra job’, Mr Cameron? Are you going to introduce sanctions for sleeping, is the idea of family time or time off from work a sign of the arrogance of the undeserving poor displaying a sense of entitlement?
Thousands of people have been criminalized by the bedroom tax, with huge queues in the streets outside courtrooms and when this despicable tax was debated yesterday, it’s author ran off to France for a youth unemployment conference. When Challenged by reporters his response was to shout, ‘I can’t hear you, I can’t hear you!’ That is how much respect you Tories and your corporate sponsors have for the British people. None. Well here’s the rub, Britons shall, never, never, never be your slaves.
