Secret Trials for UK – (Same sex marriage debate was a Red Herring)

At precisely the same time as the same-sex marriage distraction debate was happening in the main Commons chamber,  this bill was slipped through the Lords almost unnoticed.

The new revised draft, the product of the final session of the Bill’s committee stage, was forced through by a majority of one. The Ulster Democratic Unionist Ian Paisley Jnr cast the critical vote.

Currently under final reading in the ( still undemocratic! ) House of Lords, the brilliantly named, Justice and Security Bill , will allow the British government, at their convenience, to dispose of both.

The bill’s sponsor in the Commons is “Justice” Minister Kenneth Clarke, who is widely believed to be on the steering committee of the highly secretive Bilderberg meetings. In a forward to a consultation document, he explains that the purpose of the bill is to enable the government to defend itself against civil claims, with claimants typically seeking significant amounts in damages.

In reality this bill will certainly be used to silence NHS whistleblowers and similar and anyone arrested, where any exposure of official  incompetence or corruption was likely. They would be held without counsel and without being informed of the specified charge.
