A story in today’s press finally proved what myself and others had previously thought, the politicians running our country are using the tactics of 1930s Nazi Germany.
A 50 Yr old Thalidomide victim, one of the first in this country in fact was found fit to work by our ever so intelligent DWP, what we really mean is that Atos decided she was fit to work?
This poor woman who needs carer’s seven days per week to basically help her with everything from going to the toilet to brushing her hair, she is blind in one eye and has severe arthritis which causes her excruciating pain, she is also due to have surgery later this year on her spine, I’d love to know how the Nazi run DWP can defend this sort of judgement, they cannot say it’s a one-off because we have all seen this sort of thing before?
What angers me is that this poor woman obviously has years of medical reports to back up her reasons for not being able to work, Atos/DWP obviously have decided to totally ignore all the relevant medical information, I would love to know who this womans MP is, has he been contacted, has he made strong representations on his constituents behalf?
And by the way, for all those #holes who will no doubt come on here and lambast me for drawing the conclusion that we are now being run by a bunch of Psychotic Nazi Neanderthals, get real and open your bloody eyes for once, If you cannot see what is happening in Great Britain today it’s because you choose to turn a blind eye to it?
None and I say again, none of the main political parties are doing anything to stop the abuse of the sick and disabled, the elderly or the vulnerable in this country, they all offer great sound bites but do SFA as far as I’m concerned.
What have the Labour Party done I ask you? Nothing is the bloody answer, the exception to the rule is that a few decent men and woman have spoken up and continue to fight the abuse, people like Michael Meacher MP are speaking out but will anything change?
The only changes I see for the near future are that more and more innocent people will lose their lives, the struggle for everyday existence will just be too much, continual assessment recalls, tribunals, loosing your Mobility vehicles, all this will prove too much for many, the suicide rate will increase but that’s what sick fucker’s like IDS and Mark Hoban MP & Minister for Disabled people Esther McVey want, it improves the figures for them, I bet it even gives IDS a fucking hard on when another disabled person dies?
The bedroom tax that is about to come into place will see the most vulnerable and least able of our society being driven to extreme actions, disabled people will be forced to move from their already adapted homes which many councils will have funded only to be forced into properties that are unsuitable, who will get these expensively adapted properties then? None of these policies have been thought through or maybe they have?
Will future generations look back on this period of our history and be shocked by our political leaders Fascist ways, will future generations be horrified by the way our society carer’s for our vulnerable/elderly/disabled, will our film archives be full of horror stories of neglect and abuse endorsed by our political leaders?
Images of concentration camp victims are something we have become used to, we know it happened but keep on telling ourselves it cannot happen here, that viewpoint is a dangerous one, it can happen in Britain today because we have the same sort of political climate as 1930s Europe had, high unemployment, immigration, all the main political parties are scapegoating the poor, the sick & vulnerable for being the cause of our nations ills, just imagine if things get much worse, the fuse is already there, it just takes someone to light it?
